Welcome, Lifehackers, to the next Hacker Challenge! Each week, we issue a new challenge. You get until Sunday to prepare your submission and send it to us. That gives you a few days to think about it and a whole weekend to work it up. Our editors pick the best submissions and our favorite will win an autographed copy of Lifehacker the book!
This week's challenge should prove to be a fun one. Ready to get started?
This Week's Hacker Challenge: Craft a DIY Smartphone Accessory
We want you to show us your best hand-made smartphone accessory. Your accessory could be something simple, like a volume booster, or something bigger, like a hand-crafted case. It should be a physical accessory, but aside from that we're not going to be picky about what being an accessory means. If you made something for your smartphone, come show it off. As usual, we'll be looking for clever ideas we haven't seen before.
How to Submit Your Entry
Make sure to follow these instructions when you submit your entry:
- Post your entry below or send it to challenge@lifehacker.com with the subject Hacker Challenge: Craft a DIY Smartphone Accessory. If you post your entry below and need to include more than one image, just reply to your own comment or host your extra pics on a free, quick image-hosting site like imgur and link out to your gallery.
- We will accept entries up through Sunday night, September 23 at 11:59pm Pacific Standard Time
- We will showcase the best submissions and announce our favorite Monday, September 24.
Put on your Lifehacking cap and get to work! And don't forget to check back every week for a new challenge. We'll be alternating between Hacker Challenge and MacGyver Challenge.
Standard Gawker contest rules apply, so be sure to check them out before submitting your entry.
